Question

Assalamualikum.
My father in law was an employee of Bangladesh Bank(Central Bank).Recently his banking career comes to an end.Some part of his career he was in Library Department and during the end part of his career he was in Law department.As per my father in law statement in Law department there is no connection of interest based job.
My question is will it be valid for me to take any gift or fooding from him which is coming from central bank pension or some other facilities from bank income?(As per Quran or Sahih Hadith)

The answer to your question is as follows:

It may be allowable to avail the aforesaid facilities. If you are not in need, you had better to give it to needy ones. In the state of a dire need, you too are allowed to use it.
