Imam was a makeem while one muktadi was musafir. He joined nimaz faraz after the imam. After copleting two rakat the muzafir muktadi did not get up and remain sit down till the imam completed another two rakats and when imam concluded nimaz by salam, the sit down muzafair also concluded nimaz by doing salam. Was it right for the muzafair

The answer to your question is as it follows:

The Musafir Muqtadi is also obliged to follow his Muqeem imam in all arkan (obligatory acts) of salah. If musafir muqtadi didn’t follow his imam in 3^rd and 4^th rakat, his namaz will not be valid.
