Question

Tawaaf e widaa refers to the farewell tawaaf before leaving Makkah Mukaramah. This tawaaf is waajib. If one leaves out this tawaaf, dam becomes compulsory upon him/her. However, concession is granted to women in the state of haiz or nifaas to leave out this tawaaf, is it true???

The answer to your question is as follows:

Yes, it is true. There is no Dam, Qaza or Kaffarah if a woman leaves out Tawafe Widaa due to the impurity of Haiz or Nifas.

قال في الفتح عن البدائع: وهذا حكم ترك الواجب في هذا الباب اهـ أي أنه إن تركه بلا عذر لزمه دم، وإن بعذر فلا شيء عليه مطلقاً( شامی 2/553 باب الجنایۃ فی الحج)
