The answer to your question is as follows:
There are differences between the Ahle-Hadeeth and the Hanafis on intellectual, jurisprudential and theological issues. Ahle-Hadeeth follow Salaf in Aqeedah whereas Hanafis are Maturidi and Ash'ari in Aqeedah. Similarly in Fiqh, Hanafis follow Imam Abu Hanifa, while Ahle-Hadeeth do not follow any Imam. According to the Hanafis, taqlid (following an Imam) is obligatory, while among the Ahl al-Hadith, taqlid is an un-Islamic act. There is disagreement in many such doctrinal discourses. Therefore, you have to opt for a madrassa or school of Hanafi school of thought, so that you can be aware of the correct point of view of Islamic sciences.
