My aunty recently died. may Allah grant her Jannah. pls make dua for her. My question is we were reading quran,Tasbeeh with certain counting as told by our masjid imam who is educated from deoband. but one of our uncle who lives in Saudi said only three things reach the deceased sadqah, hajj umrah which you do for them, and slaughter, beside this rasoolullah SAW have not informed of anything else. if you cant do these things just make dua e maghfira. but the quran, tasbeeh and nawaafil did not reach the deceased.
