Darul Iqama (Hostel)

Darul Uloom Waqf Deoband not only renders educational services to the students but it tries to revive morals among the students to merge traditional and modern values culturally, to bridge the moral gap that exists among the new generation. It is concerned with promoting students living together in peace and harmony, not causing harm to others, and helping them. The students are trained and educated here to preach the Islamic values and brotherhood across the world and face the modern challenges and protect Islam from anti-Islamic elements.
So this department manages the student hostels, allots them seats and deals with their affairs.

Rules for hostel students:

  1. All the students must have proper appearance as the pious men keep and never do anything against the traditions of Darul Uloom Waqf Deoband.
  2. Darul Uloom Waqf Deoband is your own property, so do not destroy it.
  3. Students must respect all the teachers and faculty members. They must abstain from improper remarks on the Rules and Regulation of Darul Uloom Waqf Deoband.
  4. Students have to follow the education system completely.
  5. They must be punctual of performing five daily prayers in congregation and other sunnah and wajib prayers.
  6. Students are not allowed to stay outside Darul Uloom Waqf Deoband premises without written permission of the Nazime Darul Iqama.
  7. Students have to inform the Nazime Darul Iqama when any relative or guest comes to them.
  8. Students are not allowed to change their seats allotted by Nazim Darul Iqama without permission. They must be on their respective seats.
  9. Students are not allowed to stay outside their rooms.
  10. No student can keep small child/children with him, if he found guilty of it, he may be expelled.
  11. If a student is absent from his seat for a week without informing the Nazim, his seat will be given to another student.
  12. It is offence to watch movies/films/TV or prohibited sites on internet.
  13. Students are not permitted to use multimedia mobile.
  14. If they need mobile, they could use simple mobile without memory card & camera. Nevertheless they must avoid using this simple mobile during classes as well as after Maghrib till Isha prayer. For this is your lesson revision and study time.
