The answer to your question is as follows:
It is strictly forbidden to have sexual intercourse in the state of menstruation. However, if it ever happens out of loss of control, one should immediately repent and seek forgiveness from Allah Almighty. There is no specific kaffarah for that sin. Nevertheless, you should give some money or things in the way of Allah as a Sadaqa. If you can afford, donate one dinar (4.374 gram gold coin) or half a dinar or its value.
"(قوله ويندب إلخ) لما رواه أحمد وأبو داود والترمذي والنسائي عن ابن عباس مرفوعاً «في الذي يأتي امرأته وهي حائض، قال: يتصدق بدينار أو نصف دينار»، ثم قيل: إن كان الوطء في أول الحيض فبدينار أو آخره فبنصفه، وقيل: بدينار لو الدم أسود وبنصفه لو أصفر. قال في البحر: ويدل له ما رواه أبو داود والحاكم وصححه: «إذا واقع الرجل أهله وهي حائض، إن كان دماً أحمر فليتصدق بدينار، وإن كان أصفر فليتصدق بنصف دينار» (الدر المختار وحاشية ابن عابدين (رد المحتار) (1/ 298)
