السلام عليكم What about giving du'as to someone on his birthday? Not for imiting the Kuffar bust just to have a landmark and to remember the other the bounty of Allah on him and to remember him that so many years are gone, did you use them to prepare the aakhirat... I ask that because I've read that celebtrating birthday is a pagan habit, they were thinking that on someone's birthday evil spirits are coming to him so to get them far away they were surrounding him, making noise, giving him good wishes... And if someone give him a gift it was a good sign. Please detail your answer with proofs. جزاكم الله خيرا
