Teaching in South Korea has many great perks. You get a furnished apartment free of charge for the entire academic year. Your apartment will come with all the necessary essentials such as a bed, desk and chair, refrigerator, wash machine, dresser and microwave. Ask the hotel you are considering staying at in Korea to see if the furnishings can be provided. They may also have some other useful items such as toothpaste or soap, but they will not be free. You can also find out what your apartment will be used for in advance by asking the hotel.
