Self-service facilities
Self service vehicle wash facilities allow the car-owner to wash his or her own auto using hoses, cleaning agencies and drying machines supplied by the carwash. These are commonly coin-operated and work on a period limit.
Pros: Usually very cheap. You can be as watchful (or as careless) along with your paint as you'd like.
Disadvantages: Manual labour is included. Do you really want to get wet and also potentially dirty for the sake of a new clean car?
Hand automobile wash facilities
Hand car-washes employ staff members to clean the car, usually using buckets in addition to sponges - the old fabricated way. Some hand vehicle wash facilities cater to selected markets by providing slightly different providers, such as providing the customer together with scantily-clad attractive females to wash his (or her) car or truck.
Pros: No manual your time on the customer's behalf.
Negatives: Price starts to get slightly higher at this point.
Tunnel flushes
A tunnel wash utilizes a large conveyor belt heading the car through the wash appliance. There are typically automated cranes and booms that execute a number of actions on the car, such as spraying detergent, chaffing dirt off and rinsing out with water.
Pros: Entirely automated - the customer may sit back and enjoy the drive. Usually provides a very extensive clean.
Cons: Starting to acquire pricey. In the past, some ended up concerned that the automated process may cause damage to the exterior of the vehicle. This is typically no longer predicament. Some tunnel washes require that someone remain in the automobile to move it between levels.
