If you think of hotel or inn being used in conjunction, what image comes to your mind? A small establishment that offers lodging for guests. Although both words are often believed to be one and the identical, they're actually not. The French hotel word is the (restaurant) and was initially introduced in 17th century France to denote lodgings that offered more care than places that just offers lodging. The modern form of the Latin word "tua" meaning "house", is the hotel. Therefore, the term hotel today has various different interpretations depending on where it's employed.
